And I am very grumpy about Castile and Okolski not being able to make it and then not even being replaced. They were an American team; the USFSA could've easily grabbed the next one off the list to invite, what with their not needing visas or anything. That'll be an easy win for Pang and Tong, methinks. Much as I admired the format of NISA's stream yesterday, I cannot forgive technical malfunctions that refuse to let me watch, especially after I've paid my raised-by-inflation fee. One hit me this morning and I've given up and am now seeing if I can just hold out on spoilers until IceNetwork uploads footage, since they will apparently be doing so ( Read more... )

A few terrible technical problems, but otherwise I very much approve of this internet stream. Showing scores, ranking, and music choices, and throwing in a good quality, if silent, clip of John Curry's '76 Olympic performance while the ice is being resurfaced are all very good things to do.

The problem with the fight against breast cancer is that at some point big business co-opted it, and now the pink ribbons and such have become less about helping people and more about making money while looking benevolent. Just posted my report report on the Senior Ladies long at GoldenSkate. Now to face my homework, buy my groceries, watch everything uploaded to IceNetwork this past week as well as the show this afternoon, and I can't remember what else at the moment.
